| I know that this slide is dirty. Its 25 years old, and I didn't want to use anything stronger than Anti-Stat, and that didn't clean all the "stuff" off.... The photo is a newborn lamb, part of a flock roaming freely in an olive orchard, near the old town of Arcos, in southern Spain. We were driving from Granada to Cadiz, on an overcast day, and saw several lambs near the road. This was a one-chance opportunity, to catch the shot before they ran away - as it was, the lamb stood and was stretching it legs, as I got this shot. The overcast day helped flatten the shadows and provide a "softness" to the scene, but the lower light level also forced a wider iris, and a narrower depth-of field. . . . An original 35mm Ektachrome, probably at 200mm, on a zoom-lens, scanned on the HP scanner in January 1998. All rights reserved.
